Allan and Chris Ambrose of the Wasteneys Lab have organized a seminar series of “techinars”. These short talks by graduate students and postdoctoral researchers are intended to share the wealth technical knowledge that exists within our department and to foster discussion about a variety of techniques.
This week at the inaugural techinar, the Samuels Lab own Grant McNair will give a short talk about practical considerations when designing plant microRNA constructs.
Check out the UBC Botany Techinar website for a schedule of upcoming talks, as well as online discussions about the techniques that have been presented in past techinars.
