Allan DeBono

Please visit my website for more details about my research and projects: www.allandebono.com

In January 2006 I started my Ph.D. in Lacey Samuels' lab at UBC. I have been a part of her cuticle project studying the role of lipid transfer proteins (LTPs) in cuticular lipid export. Through a reverse genetics screen of T-DNA insertional mutants I have isolated a GPI-anchored LTP by the name of LTPG that is required for cuticular lipid export.

My areas of expertise include molecular biology and live cell imaging.
