Rebecca and Teagen have both decided to transfer to the PhD program and continue their studies in the Samuels Lab. Both of them join the collaborative WOW grant; Rebecca will conduct her research in both the Samuels Lab and in Brian Ellis’ Laboratory in the Michael Smith Laboratories, where she will continue studying lignification of secondary cell walls. Teagen will continue her research on pollen wall formation in Carl Douglas’s laboratory, and will become co-appointed in the Samuels lab.
We’re glad to have you both, ladies.
Rebecca joins the WOW grant because she successfully defended her MSc. thesis proposal today. Congratulations, Rebecca!
